Italian Conversation 1
Our purpose is to learn enough Italian to converse at some level with local people when we holiday in Italy, and also to understand the written word in public places.
The group has been in existence since July 2017, when we started learning Italian with the BBC Italian course, Talk Italian Complete and are now working our way through Book 2.
Ours is a group of seven with only one, occasional, member having a good knowledge and understanding of Italian. Using the discs supplied
with the course, however, we are becoming more confident in our understanding, and use of, the spoken word. Currently, we meet in each other's homes, rather than in a fixed venue, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.
