Mah Jong
Mah Jong as we know it today, originated in the late 19th Century in China.
The game is played with engraved tiles, originally made from bone and bamboo ( now usually made from plastic.)
There are many national forms of the game, so we have decided to play the Hong Kong style. Copies of the rules are available at our meetings. As we are mostly beginners our aim is to learn the game together.
