Scottish Country Dancing

This is a great way to enjoy some fun and keep fit too. Jigs, reels and strathspeys all await you in this easy-going group.

There are just a few vacancies left in this group, so come along and try it out!

Dust off your dancing shoes, reconnect with your inner dancing self and enjoy the invigorating sound of Scottish dance music. Explore the steps and formations for easy jigs, reels and strathspeys. This is a great way to enjoy social dancing for fun and friendship, and to boost personal fitness, health and wellbeing.

We dance a mix of Scottish Country dances and ceilidh dances to recorded music. We have a refreshment break and start with a gentle warm up dance and finish with simple stretches.

What to wear: flat soft shoes are best such as plimsolls, jazz dance shoes, or lightweight pumps.
